About the motif

Cat Haze was drawn by Sofia Mannfalk in 2022. Since then, it has become one of the most popular motifs in SOLK’s collection and has been produced both as a scarf and a poster.

Cat Haze is a dreamlike combination of a classically architectural Renaissance setting and the playful presence of a Bengal cat. Shifting scales and a blend of elements create a dynamic, richly detailed scene that is characteristic of SOLK’s surreal universe. The colour palette is a restrained yet striking combination of apricot and cyan, giving rise to the image’s dreamy “haze”.
